Course Details

The golf course at Forest Oaks Country Club is a classic parkland style course originally designed by Ellis Maples. PGA tour player Davis Love III did a redesign (with partner Paul Cowley) a few years ago. Starting in 1977 the course was the host of the annual "Greater Greensboro Open" (now known as the Wyndham Championship) on the PGA Tour. Love used his "local knowledge" of the course to win the tournament in 2006.

Forest Oaks is located just a few miles southeast of downtown Greensboro.  You can find hotels near Forest Oaks Country Club at TheRealPlaces.com.  Forest Oaks Country Club is 7.4 miles from downtown Greensboro.

Notes

Arccos Tracking System

If you're really serious about tracking your game, this system is for you. Attach the sensors to your clubs to get more information about how you play than you imagined possible.

Telescopic Golf Ball Retriever

Balls can be expensive. There's nothing wrong with taking a few seconds to pull a ball or two out of one of those bleeping "penalty areas".
